today was the first day of training for the upcoming ragnar race. the race is in february and is a 24 hour relay race from wickenburg to tempe. you can have a team of up to 13 people and cover a total of 200 miles. we were so excited to join a team yesterday and decided that this morning would be our first training day. we went to bed early and set our alarms for 6am. unfortunately i couldn't quite break the bear-like sleeping habits of my running partner.

brendy, you've got 3 miles to catch up to before our next training session...tomorrow morning!

heading to austin in 2 days.
i'm so excited, here's what the trip has in store:

- seeing jaimee after her tour in iraq

- cheering katie on through the iron man race

- eating an ungodly amount of any yum-yums i can get my hands on

- dancing, and i'm guessing a back bend will most likely happen

- laughing until my cheeks hurt

- devising some sort of trip to eqypt (i'm just sayin')

i've been working on a few alterations for bourbon vintage. i really miss sewing and designing - doing these small projects reminds me that i really need to get back into it.

molly

my darling friend, molly, is a flamenco dancer. i went to see her preform last sunday and it was a life changing experience. people keep laughing at me when i say that but i truly mean it. i had chills the entire show and especially when molls was killin' it on stage! i was lucky enough to get a pic with her after the show - here she is with her son

isn't she lovely?

love you molls
